BEECH IS BACK - Episode 1 : Part 3

Don and Frankie are in bed. Don wants to go out, and Frankie suggests getting out of the country first.
"Frankie, what is your rush?"
"I would have thought that was obvious."
Don insists he'll be OK. He just wants to spend some time in his home city. "What's wrong with that?"
"Everything!" She points out that in Australia she got out quick despite leaving her family and her job. "London is death-row for you. This is the last place you belong."

Simon, Clare's boss gets out the shower. She watches him, and remembers her last night with John. She goes over to lie on the bed, and tells Simon about her progress on the case. "I made contact with one of the bad guys today."
"That was quick."
"Has Mr Aldin got the money ready?"
"Anytime you want."
"Shouldn't you be going home?" It's his sons birthday, but he'd prefer to spend more time with Clare.
"Don't be a sh*t. How old is he?" Simon gets the message.

The next morning Don wakes up to find Frankie's not in the bed. She's off to go and see Tommy.

Meanwhile, Clare's meeting DS Peters. "You told him didn't you. That we were watching him."
"What, you think he didn't know?"
"Yes. Granaski had no form...He was a rookie! I thought you of all people would have more sense than to go storming in there, blowing our cover."
"Don't you talk to me about sense. Since when did you lot have any sense?"
"Don't digress."
"No, no. I would really like to know. You lot make me sick. I spent a year chasing a bent cop, a year. And what did the "Sensible Brigade" do? They let him run free, just in case there was someone else involved. Well, there wasn't anyone else involved, I knew that, I'd done the work. So what does he do? He kills an officer, an officer who was a friend of mine and we spend a fortune chasing him half way around the world. Where's your precious sense in all that?"
"What's that got to do with Granaski?"
"It's got everything to do with everything," she yells. "Your rules never work. They never have and they never will!" She storms off.

"Don't mess with me, old man," she threatens. Tommy points out that even Don won't tell her where the loot is.

Frankie is furious by the time she meets up with Don. She thinks that Tommy's past it, and then Don won't tell her where the money is. "I'm just an errand girl for you two!"

"You're dead."
"Only temporarily." Don wants an account setting up in the Isle of Man.
"It'll be a limited company so it's less easier to trace. I'll have it up and running in a couple of days."

Clare leaves, and Peters decides it's time to tell his DCI who she is. "You could get suspended for this."
"I was trading information, Sir. Not selling it."

"It's amazing what you can earn as a copper these days!" Don tells him that he and Frankie are stopping around for a bit longer, so there's no rush to fence all of the gear.

"I want some cash. And I want it soon. And if I don't get it, I'll come looking for it." He takes the CCTV tape. "I'm camera-shy."
On the way out the second man apologises to Tommy. "It's alright, I suppose."
